StoryPlay
Theater
2008
On Saturday and Sunday, May 17 and 18, two free
workshops are open to the public that will help prepare interested
participants to audition for the Riverfolk summer productions
"PanPlay" and "Riverfolk Stories." These workshops will
also take place
from 1-5 p.m. at the Ackerson building. All ages are welcome at the
"Riverfolk Stories" workshop on Saturday, May 17, while children are
especially invited to the "PanPlay" workshop on Sunday, May 18. This
workshop is strongly recommended for young performers interested in
auditioning for PanPlay.
Peter and Linda Knox, directors and producers of the summer
events, are veterans of the Performance Network in Ann Arbor and
bring a wealth of experiences and energy to this complete series of
theatrical workshops.
Step into the magical world of the theater in the coming weeks!
Auditions for July 24, 25 and 26 performances of "PanPlay" will be
held May 31 and June 1 beginning at 1 p.m. at the Ackerson
building. Children and youth ages 7-17 are especially encouraged to
audition.
Auditions for "Riverfolk Stories," a rich presentation of oral history
tales culled from the memories and imaginations of Manchester
residents, will be announced soon.
Workshop and audition registrations along with other information
on the summer schedule are available online by directing your
